Jordan is 29 and lives in Risca, Caerphilly and studied Music Production at Sound Engineering at DBS Bristol University but found a career in commercial fit outs and as a Banksman on construction sites.
He wanted to gain more skills so he could apply for other positions in construction, so decided to book on a training course through The Construction Hub Academy. He has taken two courses SMSTS and Ride-on-roller which he has found thoroughly enjoyable.
“The site is well laid out and the instructors make it easy to grasp what you need to learn. They were especially helpful to me, as in February 2020 I was diagnosed with MS which effects my co-ordination at times. The instructors adapted the course specifically for my needs to make it more suitable and I can’t thank them enough. I am still unsure what my diagnosis means for my future career, but I am hoping that long term I can move in to management as a Quantity Surveyor.”
