No, all funded courses are covered by the PLA funding supplied by the Welsh Government.

PLA funding covers novice courses, refresher courses and test only.

We would advise candidates to bring all their own PPE as we have a very small amount of spare kit available. We also do not have spare boots as it would mean we would need to cover many sizes, so candidates would need to bring their own.

No, lunch is not provided, and this is stated in the joining instructions. We have a canteen where there is a snack and hot drink vending machine and there are plenty of food places nearby. We also have a fridge on site for lunches to be stored.

Yes, we have plenty of parking on site.

A train travelling from Cardiff Central station to Barry Island will stop at Cadoxton where you can exit and walk for just over half a mile to our premises. The train journey from Cardiff Central to Cadoxton is approximately 11 minutes and the walk should also take you around 11 minutes, but please allow additional time should the train service be delayed.

Yes, we have an outside covered shelter available.
