NVQs

Looking to undertake a NVQ Level 2 to upgrade your CPCS Red Card to Blue?

The Construction Hub Academy are accredited to carry out NVQs (National Vocational Qualifications) from Level 1 to Level 6.

NVQs are required when upgrading from a CPCS Red Card to a CPCS Blue Card. They are also required for certain types of CSCS Card, for example, Supervisors and Managers Cards.

In some cases, you’ll even be eligible for a card extension when you sign up for an NVQ.

We specialise in Plant Operations NVQs but there is a substantial range of qualifications for all other trades.

Our assessors can also provide NVQs for the painting and decorating trade.

Due to the extensive list of NVQs available it would be beneficial to contact us to discuss your specific requirement.

What are NVQs?

  • NVQs (National Vocational Qualifications) are based on national occupational standards.
  • NVQs describe what a competent person is expected to be able to do.

  • NVQs can be completed in a learner’s own time, delivered to full-time employees, self-employed workers or employers.
  • They can be offered to students with a work placement or part-time job and enable them to develop the appropriate skills.
  • There are no age limits and no special entry requirements.
