Personal Learning Account (PLA)

How Personal Learning Account Works

A Personal Learning Account (PLA) will allow you to study fully funded, flexible part-time courses around your existing responsibilities.

Personal Learning Accounts provide flexible courses and qualifications, which are fully funded by the Welsh Government.

You'll be able to acquire new skills and qualifications that local employers need, to help you progress your current career or change it altogether.

The Process

1.

We will receive an initial enquiry via email or telephone, or a candidate will register their interest on the website.

2.

We will then send an email with an acknowledgment of the enquiry or interest and send a the link to upload identification (photo ID and a payslip) and the PLA form to be completed and returned.

3.

Once these are returned, we will then send a prospective candidate's ID and completed form over to the relevant college to be approved.

4.

Once approved we will contact the candidate to book them onto a specific course date.
