Supporting Welsh Speakers in our Training / Cefnogi dysgwyr y Gymraeg yn ein hyfforddi

Welsh is a language spoken by over 800,000 people in Wales and whilst we are a small business, we are still committed to serving the needs and preferences of our Welsh customers.

Therefore, we are delighted to announce that one of our recent new employees Megan Ackerman is a fluent Welsh speaker.

Megan is our Office Administrator and plays a key role in answering our telephone and providing help for our customers by booking them on the courses and helping them complete funding forms.

We work as a close team and Megan is keen to encourage other staff to learn some basic Welsh phrases or words from her, so that everyone can converse in the Welsh language.

We know from research that having Welsh speakers’ in the team, customers are more likely to choose a business that offers this facility so we are delighted to have Carys on board to help us support our customers’ needs.

If you are interested in hiring a Welsh employee or providing Welsh language training for your staff, you can contact the Business Wales Skills Gateway for more information and support.
